What Plug Adapter Do I Need for the Maldives?

Ilianee
Packing for my Maldives honeymoon and just realized - I have no idea about their power outlets! Will my US plugs work there or do I need to buy an adapter? What's the deal with Maldives plug type? Don't want to end up with dead camera batteries when we're supposed to be capturing romantic sunset selfies!

Congrats on the marriage - hope your plugs get along better than some couples! The Maldives plug type situation is actually simpler than resort pricing. They mainly use Type D and G sockets (those British three-pin ones). Your US flat pins won't fit without an adapter, but most resorts have universal sockets these days. Still, better safe than sorry - grab a travel adapter that handles multiple types. Found a super helpful voltage guide that'll prevent you from frying your hairdryer here.

Sure many of these link watches released over the years by a variety of brands have put proceeds toward non-profit organizations. But I keep coming back to how much more genuine the One More Wave diver feels. The watch doesn't link scream its military ties. In fact you can link frame the good it does without even mentioning the military at all.
