Need Ideas? Here’s How I Used Flexible Profile Lights and Handrail Lighting in My Home Makeover

I recently completed a home renovation project and wanted to share my experience using flexible profile light and handrail lighting — two lighting elements that completely transformed my interiors!

For the living room and bedrooms, I installed flexible profile lights in the false ceilings and under the floating shelves. The bendable design made it super easy to create continuous lines of soft ambient lighting. Unlike traditional strip lights, these profiles don’t show any hotspots or dots — just smooth, uniform illumination. It gave my rooms a sleek and contemporary vibe without overpowering the space.

Now, the real game-changer was the handrail lighting on my staircase. Not only does it look stunning at night, but it also improves safety, especially for my parents and kids. I used warm white LED strips beneath the handrails, which subtly light up each step and look luxurious too!

Both lighting solutions are energy-efficient and low-maintenance, and I got them from RHEA LED Linear, which has a solid variety of customizable options.
