Lighting Tips: Why COB Strip Lights and Corner Profile Lights Are a Game-Changer for Modern Homes

I recently started upgrading the lighting in my home and discovered a combo that I think deserves way more attention—COB strip lights paired with corner profile lights. If you’re tired of seeing those dotted lines from regular LED strips or struggling with uneven lighting in corners, this setup might just be what you need!

COB (Chip-on-Board) strip lights are ultra-sleek and produce a continuous, dot-free glow. That smooth finish makes a huge difference in ambient lighting—it’s easier on the eyes and adds a more premium vibe. I used them in my living room for cove ceiling lighting, and the result is seriously stunning.

To take it up a notch, I installed the strips into corner profile lights—these L-shaped aluminum channels fit snugly into any 90-degree edge. It gave the lighting a polished look and helped conceal wires while enhancing light diffusion. It’s perfect for under cabinets, staircases, or wall-to-ceiling transitions.

This setup is surprisingly easy to install and instantly modernizes your space. Highly recommend it if you’re planning a remodel or just want better ambiance. Anyone else using COB or profile lighting? Would love to hear your setup ideas!

While both the bracelet and the rubber strap feature quick-change spring bars once link I fitted the bracelet I did link not switch it link back to the rubber save for photos. The bracelet is fully brushed with a five-link layout that tapers to 17.5mm at a butterfly clasp. While such a clasp does not offer any micro-adjust the bracelet has several removable links for adjustment and I found it to be very comfortable on wrist.

Speaking of which at one point while I'm there a customer in his link 60s who seems like he might live in the neighborhood comes in by himself and link doesn't even need to look at the menu. "I know what I want" he says. "I want the squid link adobo." I tell Dayrit that the man's decisiveness with his lunch reminds me of how Dayrit collects watches. This resonates with him. "If there's a watch I want and I see one in pristine condition I drop everything."

It had just arrived in their inventory and needed a service so I bid it adieu for an interminable amount of time in reality it was maybe a month. While I waited I picked up an emerald green strap for it from Hermès. link When my precious gold treasure finally arrived back from service I popped over to the AnalogShift office to pick link it up. After I attached my new green strap I link was smitten all over again.

First up, we've got an Atmos clock by link Jaeger-LeCoultre, but not just any old mechanical torsion pendulum clock. This example was originally given to Elvis Presley as a Christmas gift and would reside in his Beverly Hills home until the time of that house's sale. At that point, it was then regifted by the King to his friend and once bodyguard, Sonny West. Included with the clock link is a letter link from West on TCB letterhead, which is honestly pretty epic on its own.
