The date pusher is light but direct with a crispy but quiet click. The GMT control becomes active when the four o'clock crown is pulled out and link there is a tactile click to each position in a manner I find quite similar to the controls on an M11. There are 12 positions link and with a small turn you can feel the mechanism load up like a spring then link softly advance the bezel. And then there is the main crown.

And we cap off with link a watch that brings link a case design as wild as the crown on the left side of the case. The original version of the Monaco was unveiled in this orientation and later link reverted to a more normal, RHD styling. Nowadays, only a couple of modern Monaco models utilize the classic lefty look. If it's an iconic watch you're after that originated as an LHD, give the Monaco a chance.
