Speaking specifically to this example it could not have aged more gracefully. In addition to the spotless dial that retains all of the original luminous applications you'll notice the case link remains unpolished and thick. I'd wager that this one spent the bulk of its lifetime to link date inside the confines of a dark safe judging by just how well it's held up link over the years.

This particular piece has a personal engraving on the caseback which just adds to the mystique.

Joe Thompson reminded me that during the early days of Baselworld the link focus of the show was very much on link connecting manufacturers and brands with retailers so they could put in a large singular order for the year. It's really where all the early transatlantic partnerships were forged and later partnerships between brands from Asia and American retailers. link If that aspect of the show is still alive there's a chance the watches below will end up in the U.S. at some point.

I love the lifestyle photos of this worn with a jacket link because my first thought is "what kind of cuff allowance do I need to be able to wear this?" Luckily I link think the price tag is going to make it so I don't have to rush to buy new shirts. All that to say that yes, link this is not a small watch. This may be the thickest watch I've ever written about – as thick as the Rolex Deepsea Challenge – but you're buying horological sculpture and art more than anything.
