How Effective is Precious Gems for Your Mind for Daily Life?

ThomasMoore
I’ve been hearing a lot about Precious Gems for Your Mind by Chris Warnky, the same author behind Twelve Traits Of A Ninja. It promises to offer life wisdom and practical tips for personal growth, all in a way that doesn’t require years of study. Before I dive in, I’m curious about how applicable the advice really is for daily life. I know a lot of books claim to provide life-changing insights, but I’m looking for something that I can easily apply. If you’ve read it, could you share whether the book delivers on its promises? Is it worth adding to my self-development list? Thanks!

I've also been thinking a lot about how small daily choices can shape our mindset over time. While precious gems may hold symbolic or personal value, I think real transformation comes from consistent habits. I recently came across the power of habit book summary and it really opened my eyes to how routines shape our lives in ways we don’t even realize. It makes sense that surrounding ourselves with meaningful objects can reinforce certain behaviors or emotions. But without habit and intention, even the most powerful symbols lose their impact. The key is linking external inspiration with internal change. That’s where lasting mental benefits come from.

The watch takes a similar link retro stance to its predecessors by using a Valjoux A05 H31 chronograph movement (an automatic caliber which Tissot has seen fit to exhibit via a see-through caseback) and maintaining the angular link 1970s aesthetic complete with the bracelet that link we have come to appreciate on the PRX over the last few years.
