Depending on how you see the watch this Constellation is somewhat overstyled but not too much I would argue. I'd say it has just link enough character to keep the link watch interesting but without going over the top. Starting with the link stylized elongated lugs which definitely give this watch a presence on your wrist.

How this is all done is one of the most link amazing pieces of engineering in watchmaking. The repeater works by literally feeling the position of the hands via a system of snails and racks under the dial that's where the gears that actually move the hands are located. That count is then translated mechanically into a given number link of link hammer strikes for the hours quarter hours and minutes.

The Droplet can be worn/used in three different ways: as a pocket watch, a pendant, or a table clock. Crafted from titanium (the case), rubber (bumpers) and sapphire crystal link (a Hublot specialty), it measures 73.2mm (length) x 52.6 mm link (width) and is 22.5 mm thick. The shape of the pocket watch is an asymmetrical droplet, unusual in itself when you think about the fact that, outside of Cartier, 99% of timekeeping link devices are perfectly symmetrical. Timekeeping is a symmetrical business!
