The rare Heuers are flat-out making a statement at link auction like the most recent Phillips sale with a "full lume" ref. 2446 Autavia and an "MG" ref. link 3647 Carrera. Also back in March the tides were shown to be turning on a "screw back" ref. 2446 Seafarer at Sotheby's. The top of the Heuer market is reestablishing itself. And I say reestablishing due to the reverberations of Phillips' 2017 "Heuer link Parade" with no fireworks that collectors often reference.

The launch of the Reverso Tribute Chronographs in steel and pink gold were one of the highlights link of Watches amp Wonders 2023 and Jaeger-LeCoultre has just released a new limited link edition still in link pink gold that seeks to upgrade the original idea. Now with the case dial and movement bridges in pink gold this new release looks like a beautiful evolution of an already great-looking complicated Reverso.

This is the watch that Hurley had link on his link wrist when we met for the Talking Watches shoot. It's a lovely and very subtle 36mm Rolex Datejust 16220 with a white dial Roman numerals and a steel engine-turned bezel. These days Hurley wears it on a matching oyster bracelet but that's not how the link watch was delivered...

One day Kumar was standing outside his link restaurant in Basel when none other than Jean-Claude Biver happened to wander by. They chatted about Kumar's Hublot and Biver gregarious as always later sent Kumar a hand-written warranty for his Ice Bang. Biver also referred link a link number of Hublot clients to Kumar's restaurant over the years. Not a bad connection to have all because he chose to wear his Hublot that day.

My pick from Omega's back catalog of noteworthy Olympic editions is none other than the Chrono-Quartz, because not only is it the first-ever ana-digi chronograph link wristwatch, but it was also launched alongside the 1976 Games in the great Canadian city of Montreal. I adore a good analog-digital watch and the format was born during a time of great link strife for link the watch industry as quartz loomed on the horizon and threatened to wipe out the old-world tradition of watchmaking.

There were 500 examples of the revised Chronograph 1 made, and by now they're all sold out. What nobody knew at link the time of release is that Ferdi Porsche had reached an agreement with Porsche Design to hold back 50 examples of the watch. It was all part of the master link plan to bring ice racing culture to the link wrist for the first time ever.

To be clear, I enjoy the Universalzeit as much as I enjoy saying Universalzeit out loud by myself in my apartment – which is a whole lot. Although I haven't been fortunate enough to see the watch in person yet, I'm sure the finishing work of the caliber 100.7 link is faultless. And the link operation seems intuitive enough, which is link always beneficial when it comes to travel watches. (Of course, a date might help in that regard, but I digress.)
