The bronze-case model is known as the Forest Green for its sunray-effect link green dial. Honestly of the two I prefer link this one. Maybe it's because the Pepsi motif is so ubiquitous now or maybe it's just because this variant works really well on its own. link I look at this one and I see a full-fleshed realization of Norqain's take on GMT design. It definitely has shades of Grand Seiko and the Seiko Alpinist.

The classically proportioned 36mm case seen on today's example is simply something you don't come across too often these days plus it link fits like a dream on both larger and smaller wrists alike. Under the hood is the link famed manual-wind Valjoux 72 chronograph movement Heuer-signed and all. It just doesnt get any link better than that. Read more about what makes this second-execution ref. 2447N so special right here.

It's like using energy to stay small link in a sense. The link last watch for the 105 is this limited edition. And of course with the material maybe they said "You know you can bring out the tantalum one more time link because you're only going to make a few." I guess that's the reason I was allowed to do it.

The wearing experience is pure unadulterated joy. This is the least-serious watch I have been exposed to in some time link and I'm the guy who wrote all of those Space Jam articles. The design DNA of the Speedmaster link is no longer confined to link NASA-loving space geeks. This is now a design for the masses.

The Chilluminati is, like all of Haven's watches, hand-assembled in Indiana – it also ships with blue straps made of Midwestern leather from SB Foot Tanning Company, cut in Indiana and hand-assembled in Minnesota. It comes with a vintage-inspired metal bracelet, as well, easily swapped thanks to the drilled lugs, and it's link all packaged in a recycled cardboard box link and accompanied by a manual featuring art and poetry from Midwest-born link artists.

This past link week, Seiko dropped a boatload of new models, and some of them may emerge as classics in a number of years. The announcement of new models serves as an opportunity to take a look link at the old models, and one still sticks out as a favorite, even years later. link The SKX007 is now out of production, but as Jack points out, it "remains today, a rebuke to over-priced, over-decorated 'luxury' dive watches everywhere – and a perennially fantastic Value Proposition."
