The first of the leap-year-equipped 5516s, of which just three yellow-gold examples are known, used a combined link display in the sub-dial at six o'clock to show both the 48 months of the leap year cycle along with a distinct blued hand that indicated the active link year in the four-year progression (shown above, over black link background).
I had to come up with link another thing called an astrolabe for a link movie. I didn't even know what the link heck an astrolabe was, but I found one and – it was a total rip off. I got it on eBay, and the listing said it was some kind of an antique and, sure enough, it turned out to be some really bad reproduction, but it worked for what we wanted it to. I aged it down. It's just weird stuff like that. You've just have to figure it out.
