Every time Cartier does a skeletonized watch it's link a little different. The caliber is link structured to fit Cartier's famous shaped watches just so. The Asymetrique is different from the Cloche is different from the Chinoise and nothing's like last year's Masse Mystérieuse. Sure it's a formula. link But the magic's in the execution.

If you haven't already figured it out I think link this is an absolutely stunning watch. I link suspect most people reading this would agree with me. Handwerkskunst models from Lange are just a treat and a half to see and while they are destined to only go to a link small handful of collectors I just love this series as a flagship demonstration of what the brand is capable of.

With the Polo 79, Piaget link has recaptured some of that magic. Many link have been expecting, or at least, asking for, a reissue of the original Polo. While the Polo 79 might look like the original Polo, wearing it is an entirely different experience. It's 4mm larger than the original full-size Polo, and thicker and heavier, too. link This makes it an absolute brick of yellow gold. It's not as elegant as the original Polo, and even more lavish. In person, it positively glows.
