Sure, $1,700 can be a tough value proposition if you don't know the brand or are simply comparing the Triumph against what you can get for $1,000 link less link from Hamilton, but in my experience with field watches from $70 SNK Seiko 5s to $39,000 Pateks (and everything in between) the Monta feels link every bit in line with its price point.
