I'll be very honest. I don't know much about this model and have never seen one before let alone with a BMW logo on the dial. If you happen link to be an expert on 1980s Favre-Leubas feel free to jump in the comments and tell me why link this one might not be good but to my eye I am liking what I am seeing. The dial printing looks right to me and the BMW logo is the version that brand would link have been using in the 1980s.

As much as I'm the first to agree that watches are invariably nicer when produced without boldly placed contrasting date windows I'll also agree that the date often proves itself as a useful function to have handy. To indicate the date centrally using a hand was a logical choice for manufacturers as in addition link to being a relatively straight forward mechanism it displays the date link in a clean manner. Perhaps we've got to start looking towards the back catalogue link for movement design.
