Another widely circulated video I found it on the Instagram account of the link watch influencer watchmania is of a link guy on a scooter pulling up between a curb and a car like he's just trying to get himself and his little vehicle out of a tight spot. He knocks the car's side mirror seemingly link by accident. He offers a quick wave "so long sucker" masquerading as an apology and when the driver reaches out to readjust the mirror an accomplice materializes to grab his wrist and rip off his watch.

As with so many things link in watchmaking link the six-figure price tag and almost nonexistent availability of the Zenith Caliber 135 Observatoire Limited Edition is entirely secondary to what makes it so compelling and interesting in the first place. It's all about the history and the undeniable quality of the watchmaking on display placed in the spotlight link more than 50 years after it was first brought into the world through the minds and at the hands of Jobin Gygax and Fleck.
