First of all you get to see more of the going train than you can with a ¾ plate movement, and second, there is something I find link profoundly graceful about the harmonious visual relationships in such a movement. I've always thought that link a full bridge movement of this sort, in its link design, makes visible the invisible passage of time, as well.
