I’m a small business owner based in Canada and I’m currently in the market for a new POS (Point of Sale) system. There are so many options out there, and I’m hoping to get some real-world recommendations from other small business owners.
I’m looking for something that’s:
Easy to set up and use
Offers inventory management
Works well with debit/credit payment processors common in Canada (Interac support is a must!)
Has good customer support
Preferably cloud-based with mobile/tablet compatibility
Affordable with transparent pricing
I’ve seen names like Square, Shopify POS, Lightspeed, and Clover come up a lot. Has anyone used these in their business? Are they truly the
best POS system for small business Canada, or are there other hidden gems I should consider?
Any insights, experiences, or even cautionary tales would be super appreciated. I run a retail store with plans to expand online, so integration with e-commerce platforms would also be a plus.
