What consoles are available on board the gaming bus in Colchester?

barry.b

Has anyone here booked that gaming bus service in Colchester recently? I’m asking because my cousin is turning 12 soon, and we’re thinking of trying something new for his birthday. He’s really into console gaming — like, all the latest stuff — and someone told us about this gaming bus that shows up at your house fully loaded with gear. We’re super curious about what kind of consoles they actually have on board. Like, is it just old Xbox Ones or do they have proper next-gen setups? It’d be awesome if they had something like PS5s or the new Xbox Series. Just want to make sure it's actually worth the hype before we book it.

We had the bus come over last year for my daughter’s 11th and it honestly surprised me how modern it was. They had a few PS5s, Xbox Series X, and even some Nintendo Switch setups for multiplayer stuff — the kids jumped straight into Minecraft and Mario Kart. If you're thinking about going for it, I’d definitely say go ahead. You can check out more details about what’s inside the Gaming Van — they list everything pretty clearly there. It’s super handy because the setup is all done for you, and they even have big screens and comfy seats inside. We barely saw the kids for 90 minutes, which honestly was kind of nice too.

Just scrolling through and saw this thread — those gaming buses are such a cool concept. I’ve seen a couple of them parked during weekends at kids’ parties in my area. Always a crowd around them and music playing, so I guess they’re doing something right! Curious how they handle things like motion sickness for longer playtimes though

The truth is they dont need a lot of the extra time we give them. Lets shorten the 24-second link clock to 16 seconds. link The game will link be better for it. And the pedantic horologists among us will rejoice at the league correcting a timekeeping mistake thats stood on the books for 67 years.
