I have noticed more DAOs hiring consultants lately, people who help design governance models, token systems, and decision frameworks. It’s interesting because
DAO consultants are meant to be community-driven, yet they’re now leaning on outside experts for structure.
Maybe that’s a good thing — bringing experience and organization to complex systems. Or maybe it risks losing the “do-it-together” spirit that makes DAOs unique.
How do you see it? Are consultants helping DAOs grow up, or pulling them back toward traditional corporate habits?
