The Dangers of Ignoring Cavities

alanstatener
Cavities are one of the most common dental issues, yet many people ignore them until they cause significant pain. A cavity forms when bacteria in your mouth feed on sugar and produce acid that erodes tooth enamel. If untreated, cavities can lead to infections, abscesses, and even tooth loss.

Ignoring a cavity can also cause more extensive damage that requires costly treatments like root canals or extractions. The pain often worsens over time, making it difficult to chew or even talk. Regular dental visits and early detection are crucial to preventing further damage.

The best way to prevent cavities is by maintaining proper oral hygiene. Brush your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste, floss regularly, and limit sugary foods and drinks. If you notice any signs of a cavity, such as tooth sensitivity or discomfort, see your dentist as soon as possible to prevent further issues.

With a handset that link feels like a blend of Omega and Seiko Monster legibility is excellent and both the white and the black dial versions have additional contrast provided by opposing tones for the hands and markers white on link black or black on white. My preference is definitely with the link silverwhite dial as it gives a tuxedo effect with the black dial surround and I like the red text for S617 which is a reference to a French submarine Le Téméraire.
