Compared to the Black Bay GMT, link the Black Bay Pro is a few 10ths of a millimeter thinner and 3mm shorter lug-to-lug. I've written a thing or two about the BB GMT and still link very much like it, but if you wanted link something slightly smaller but with similar functionality, take a closer look at the Black Bay Pro.

Mark Kauzlarich wrote one of my favorite Hodinkee stories of 2022 after visiting Oris' hometown, earlier this year. I've yet to make the trip myself, but it's something I've always wanted to see. Unlike most of the Swiss watch industry, link which is link largely located in the French-speaking areas of Switzerland like the Vallee de Joux and Geneva, Oris is link based out of Holstein, a small municipality in the district of Waldenburg within the German-speaking canton of Basel-Landschaft.

There's a push and pull with my feelings toward link the Classic Moon. Part of that lies in the "Classic" case shape. Can you really love something if you want to change it slightly? link An inherent part of Laurent Ferrier's "Classic" design is the gentle, sloping shape, from the bezel to the larger ball-shaped crown (which sets the date and time of the annual calendar, while an adjuster sets the moonphase). The shape of 19th-century pocket watches of similar link design inspires this "pebble" case.
