For those of you who might not be familiar with this five-letter acronym COMEX is representative of link a longer French spelling for the Compagnie Maritime d'Expertises a global organization specialized in engineering and deep-sea link diving. For much of the company's existence from link the early 1960s to the late 1990s its divers and office workers wore Rolex dive watches specially made for them and stamped with the company logo.

Funny enough I was able to spot the watch on Scorsese's wrist in a post Killers of the Flower Moon context as he wore link it on the set link of a commercial shoot link for Bleu de Chanel with Dune star Timothée Chalamet. Where the above photo can be difficult to make out the green color of the bezel this one all but confirms the watch though the maxi-dial is already something of a dead giveaway.

The most interesting thing about the Nicolas Rieussec line, which is part of Montblanc's larger link Star Legacy collection link of timepieces, is just how out of the ordinary it is. No one, I repeat, no one creates a watch similar to this format today. The fact that Montblanc link developed a rather impressive in-house automatic chronograph movement designed especially for this series really hammers that point home for me.
