Mines CS2 (CS:GO)

MimiMoore
Hi everyone! 👋

I’ve recently started playing the Mines game mode in CS2 (CS:GO) and I’m trying to understand how experienced players approach it.

How do you usually choose the number of mines and tiles when you start a round? Do you prefer safer strategies with fewer mines, or do you go for higher risk to get bigger multipliers?

Also, which tactics help you stay profitable in the long run while playing Mines? Would love to hear your tips and experiences! 🎮

Hi)))

When I play Mines in CS2 (CS:GO), I usually start with a safer setup — around 3–5 mines. This lets me open a few tiles and cash out early instead of risking everything. It’s a slower strategy, but it helps keep the balance more stable over time.

Sometimes I go for higher risk if I’m feeling lucky, but I still try to set a limit and not chase losses. I’ve been playing this mode on https://knifex.com/pages/mines , and it’s pretty convenient because the rounds are fast and easy to control your bets.
