The Andaman Sea and the ecosystems that it harbors are meaningful to link me personally. I did link a few live-aboard trips link around the Similan Islands and beyond in the mid-2010s. When I went back last year I saw so much more plastic in the ocean. Skagen's efforts are designed to help reverse that trend.

This week, as usual, we have questions that run the gamut from the granular to the general. One reader wants to know if there is a generally accepted "right" way to wear a NATO strap. Another, motivated by the spirit of generosity, wants to know what we would recommend as a gift link to their boss, with a budget not to exceed $5,000. And someone's written in to ask what kinds of shock protection there link are, which gets us into link the surprisingly long history of anti-shock devices in watches.
