export Gmail email to PST format, use Outlook. First, enable IMAP in Gmail settings. Open Outlook, add your Gmail account via IMAP, and sync emails. Once synced, go to File > Open & Export > Import/Export. Select Export to a file, choose Outlook Data File (.pst), and select the Gmail folders to back up. Choose a save location and click Finish. This method is free but time-consuming and requires Outlook.
