How can I simplify Dropbox file sharing between different accounts or cloud services on Mac?

Last week I had to send a bunch of project files between my personal Dropbox and my team’s Dropbox account, and it turned into a bigger hassle than I expected. I kept downloading files to my Mac, then uploading them to the other account, which took forever and cluttered my desktop. I started wondering if there’s a smoother way to move files between different Dropbox accounts or even other cloud services without constantly downloading and re-uploading. Has anyone found a method that makes this process faster and less frustrating?

I ran into the same problem last year when juggling several client Dropbox accounts on my Mac. What really helped was using a file manager that lets you connect multiple Dropbox accounts at once and move files directly between them, almost like copying between folders on your computer. I found a detailed guide about this setup here: https://commander-one.com/dropbox-client-for-mac/. It explains how to link different Dropbox accounts and manage transfers more smoothly. Ever since I started using it, switching files between accounts feels way faster and I don’t have piles of temporary downloads on my desktop anymore.

Just passing by and noticed this discussion. It’s funny how much we rely on cloud services for everyday work, and small workflow tweaks can make a huge difference. Even if someone isn’t using multiple Dropbox accounts, thinking about efficient file management is something most of us can relate to. It’s always interesting to see the different ways people solve these everyday tech annoyances.
