How can I import Excel contacts into an Android phone easily?

williamturner
Hey Guys,

I recently switched to a new Android phone and want to transfer my old contact list, which is stored in an Excel spreadsheet. The file contains hundreds of personal and professional contacts. Unfortunately, Android does not recognize Excel files as contact sources. I searched online and found many complicated methods involving scripts or multiple conversion steps, which are confusing for a non-technical user like me. I am looking for a straightforward and beginner-friendly way to convert my Excel contacts into a format that Android can import without errors.

Hi,

An‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Android phone can only import the contacts if they are saved in a VCF (vCard) file format, not in an Excel file. So, the main thing here is to figure out how to make a real VCF file from the Excel data. When it comes to people who aren't very skilled technically trying to do it manually or running some scripts might be too much for them and they may also make mistakes. So, the users will find it very convenient to have an Excel-to-VCF converter tool that offers them an interface and automatically assigns their fields.

WholeClear Excel to vCard Converter is the software that I can say most of all is very simple and easy to use. The program lets you import the Excel file, do the correct mapping of columns, and create Android-compatible VCF files in a matter of minutes.

Features:

Intuitive and easy to use

Output VCF file with the Android standard

An unlimited number of contacts can be imported.

After that, putting the VCF file in an Android device is a matter of a couple of minutes, and there is no trouble at ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌all.
