How Much Are Diamond Watches? Moissanite vs. Real Diamond Costs

JewelryParadise
The diamond watches bring the lavishness to its utmost wit, but the price depends largely on the aforementioned: brand, quality of diamond, and craftsmanship. If you are wondering how much are diamond watches, it all depends on whether you are considering real diamonds or their alternatives like Moissanite.

Real diamond watches

Luxury brands like Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe offer diamond-studded timepieces that can start at around $10,000 and lifestyle high-end fully iced-out models at well over $500,000. The price of diamond watches varies on-land for the 4Cs (cut, color, clarity, and carat weight) of their diamonds and the price of a watch brand and watch movement. Custom-made diamond watches will also attract a heavy premium due to the craftsmanship required and the rarity of good-quality diamonds.

Moissanite Watches- The Economical Option

For all the diamond lovers out there who are looking for a budgeted alternative, Moissanite watches would be just the right choice. Moissanite resembles diamonds in brilliance and durability but is 80-90% cheaper. A good Moissanite watch can go for anywhere from $500 to $5,000, keeping that dazzling sparkle without hurting the pocket too badly. Not to mention, on the Mohs scale, Moissanite's hardness-which is almost equal to a diamond-is ranked at 9.25, with an even higher refractive index which makes it light up beautifully.

Which One Will You Prefer?

If you're one for prestige rather than the general well-being of your investment, then a true diamond watch is the right way to go. These watches hold their value and, in most cases, appreciate in time. Conversely, if you're set on the idea of affordable yet unique luxury, then a Moissanite watch will definitely give you the desired stunning looks but at less than a quarter of the price.

At Millennium Jewelery, we have high-end Moissanite and real diamond watches for all budgets and styles. Are you looking for a simple diamond accent or a fully iced-out masterpiece? Here you'll find what you'd need!

Like many brands link Rolex produced gilt link dials for its sports watches in the early '60s including Subs. These dials were produced by a time-intensive process that exposed the underlying metal of the dial blank. Since the technique exposes the blank brass underneath the dial's face this often results in golden text and markers. A lacquer is also link added giving the black dial a "glossy" shiny finish.
