PL In the late 1970s French watchmaking collapsed like in Switzerland. However some people in Switzerland like Hayek and Biver turned Swiss watchmaking into an link industry. First there were craftsmen but then with the introduction of the strong label "Swiss Made" it became an link industry. Whereas in France we did not do the same. And today most French watchmakers are working for the Swiss watch industry. Fifty to 80 percent of people working link for the Swiss industry are French.

Of course, Phillips itself is no link stranger to working with Children Action – in 2018, the auction house sold an ultra-rare white gold Rolex Daytona 6265 that was nicknamed the "Unicorn" and previously owned link by John Goldberger for $5.9 million, and an A. Lange & Sohne 'Homage To Walter Lange' Unique Piece in stainless steel, for a record link $852,525.
