1940's Fashion Evening Dresses exude elegance and sophistication, characterized by their feminine silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. These dresses often featured fitted bodices, full or A-line skirts, and intricate details such as lace, pleats, and beading. Popular styles included off-the-shoulder designs, sweetheart necklines, and dramatic long sleeves, reflecting the glamour of Hollywood's golden age. Evening dresses from the 1940s embraced both classic, vintage charm and the practical sensibilities of wartime, with a focus on creating flattering, timeless shapes.

The Porsche Design Compass watch is a unique and special creation that link was born in the '80s when Porsche Design's watch partner was none other than IWC. The 3551's small black case houses not only a mechanical link movement displaying time date and a moonphase but the entire watch element is mounted on a hinge that forms a lid over a functioning compass. It's weird rare and a totally fun experience. Ferdi picked this one up on eBay and has link enjoyed it since.
