Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been convicted of contempt of court and sentenced to six months' imprisonment. This verdict was given by a three-member bench of the International Crimes Tribunal. This is the first time Sheikh Hasina has been convicted in a legal case.
