Several common problems can arise when attempting to join a Gimkit game. Most can be easily resolved, so don't panic!
Check that you have the right game code first. The four to six character alphanumeric codes used to enter games are called game codes. Check that the
gimkit join code you are entering exactly matches with the one your teacher or the game host provided you.
The game may have started already or reached its player cap if the code is right but you are still getting an error message. It's possible for players to join after the game begins, so ask your teacher or the game host if you are able to play.
An unstable Internet connection is another possible issue. Gimkit needs a steady connection to function, so try establishing a connection over a different network or disabling any other devices that are connected to the same one.
