I’ve finished my manuscript, and while I’ve done a lot of self-editing, I’m wondering if hiring
professional book editing services is worth it. I know a polished book is important, but I’m also on a budget. Some editing services seem really expensive, and I’m not sure which type of editing I need—developmental, copyediting, or proofreading.
For those who’ve worked with an editor, did it make a big difference in your book’s quality? Also, are there any reliable but affordable editing services you’d recommend?
