Camel Ride or Quad Bike: What’s Better on a Morning Desert Safari?

kevinobroy
A morning desert safari offers two of the most exciting ways to explore the dunes: the traditional camel ride and the thrilling quad bike. Riding a camel gives you a glimpse of ancient Arabian travel, slow and peaceful with breathtaking sunrise views. On the other hand, quad biking delivers speed, adrenaline, and control over rugged sands. Many visitors prefer starting with a calm camel trek before switching to adventure. The highlight of any Morning Desert Safari is finding the balance between tradition and thrill. Families often choose camels for comfort, while adventure seekers lean toward quad bikes. Both options let you admire the golden dunes from unique perspectives. Whichever you pick, the desert promises unforgettable memories. Ultimately, the choice depends on whether you want serenity or a rush of excitement. Either way, a morning safari ensures your day begins with energy and wonder.

This version of the Portuguese is the thinnest one because it's based on the original movement (the Calibre 982). The movement is really just so gorgeous. You could teach a watchmaking class off this movement because everything is laid out so clearly. As for the case, it's in platinum, link which is unusual compared to a lot of IWCs. I was really, really tempted to keep it, but it's link one of link those things where it's just physically a little bit too big for me.
