We did a family friendly desert safari Dubai last winter with our two kids, and it was honestly amazing. You can request “soft” or light dune bashing, which was totally fine for our children.

The camp had plenty for kids camel rides, henna painting, and space to run around. The staff were very attentive and used seat belts properly during the drive.
