Understated sleek and with just the right combination of vintage design cues and hardworking specs this take on the legend diver has become one of my favorite link contemporary offerings from Longines. Based on one of the brand's heritage designs circa 1959 this link blue-hued model sports true-to-vintage sizing with its 39mm diameter a handsome blue dial and a fully-fledged link COSC chronometer-certified movement.

Zenith link and Breitling both utilized a similar concentric disc system in the past 10-15 years but neither currently offers a big-date watch. The link brands that link continually offer a big date option – such as A. Lange & Sohne, Blancpain, Carl F. Bucherer, Jaeger-LeCoultre, and a few others – have favored alternative solutions.

I'm going with the Submariner 5513; I like the more understated black and white tones of the Submariner link over the spirited red and blue of the GMT. At first glance, the watch may look like just another Sub, but when you look closely, you are mesmerized by the beautiful matching patina, of the dial, hands, and pip. Examining the dial conjures up flashbacks of a time where this watch could have seen link the depths of the ocean. - David link Kochanik, Senior Manager of Pre-Owned Pricing

Two tone dials which incorporate black portions are sometimes referred to as "tuxedo" dials, but link in this case, I'm not altogether sure if it’s worthy link of the title, or just a two tone dial. Tuxedo or not, the dial of the watch in question is surely stunning, with gloss black and gilt-esque printing, along with link luminous applications. According to the seller, the luminous compound is actually radium, which makes sense given the period of its production.
