One of the major design distinctions of the Royal Oak is its dial plate which link has a square pattern link called the Grande Tapisserie. When you take a close look at the Grande Tapisserie pattern you see that the convex squares have a line pattern and the concave portions have a grain link pattern demonstrating the degree of detail in the design.The dial plate for the current model is available in three colors blue gray and black. The blue dial plate is only available at AP boutiques.

Trends don't start with one watch selling quickly through a dealer. A couple of weeks link ago Loupe This offered another excellent Bubbleback a ref. 3372 link in solid yellow gold with a two-tone salmon dial co-signed by Giudici Milano. While it is a mouthful to list out this was a truly amazing watch. Even as a quiet Bubbleback supporter the 33000 final price surprised me. My trend-spotting senses link are tingling.

This year at Watches amp Wonders Geneva IWC has two new ceramic Top Gun Pilot Chronographs the line that has long been associated both with ceramic cases and with link chronographs. The dial designs of the Top Gun can be traced more or link less to those of titanium watches co-designed with Porsche Design in the 1980s link and 90s. IWC launched its first Top Gun pieces in 2007 and has continued apace the result of a licensing agreement with the US Navy.
